The award ceremony was held in the framework of the exhibition "Golden Autumn", which this year takes place in an online format. The event was also attended by Dmitry Patrushev, the Minister of Agriculture , and Viktor Abramchenko, the Deputy Prime Minister.

Jambulat Khatuov, the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture, held a meeting of operating headquarters devoted to agricultural products and food. The meeting was addressed to such issues as functioning of the agricultural sector and stability of the food market of Russia.

On September 25, at an expanded meeting of the Collegium of Russian Fishery Agency, Dmitriy Patrushev the Minister of Agriculture, outlined the strategic areas for development of the fishery sector. The head of the agency considers the new challenges associated with the pandemic as a powerful impetus to find the optimal ways and mechanisms of work.

At the present time, the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia (Minselkhoz) coordinates activities of 54 higher education establishments which annually release more than 35,000 highly demanded specialists.
